Product Description
AME Super mist separator should be applied for filtration of compressed air requiring a high degree of cleanliness such as the compressed air for coating lines, for clean rooms and for equipment that must avoid oils.
● Modular connection is possible
● Filter replacement time can be judged visually
The replacement time of the element is indicated by a colour change.
When the element becomes saturated with oil content, a red colour spot will begin to appear on the front surface.
When the red colour spot becomes visible, replace the element immediately.
● Threads: Rc, G, NPT
Product Specifications
Working medium | Compressed air |
Max. working pressure | 1.0MPa |
Min. working pressure*1 | 0.05MPa |
Proof pressure | 1.5MPa |
Working temperature | 5 to 60℃ |
Filtration rating | 0.01 µm (Filtration efficiency: 99.9%) |
Cleanliness at outlet*2 | Less than 100 particles of 0.3 µm or larger per cubic foot [Less than 35 particles per 10 litres (ANR)] |
Oil mist density at outlet | Max. 0.01 mg/m³(ANR)*2 (Before saturated with oil, less than 0.01 mg/m³ (ANR)≈0.8ppm) |
Element replacement period | 1. Replace the element when a red color spot occurred on the surface.*1 |
2. Even if a red spot does not appear on the surface, the filter element should be replaced when the pressure drop reaches 0.1MPa or after 2 years of operation, whichever comes first. |
*1) Failure to replace the element when the red color spot begins to appear will result in red-pigmented oil content leaking into the secondary side. If immediate element replacement is for some reason not an option, an AMF must be installed on the secondary side and the element should be replaced as soon as possible. In such cases, the AMF element should be replaced at the same time.
*2) Depending on the operating conditions, only a miniscule amount of red pigment, which will not affect filtration performance, may leak into the secondary side. Prolonged use under such conditions may result in minimal red-pigmented residue on the interior of the piping on the secondary side.
